Play walls
COURTWALL® Squash Playwall Cement Plaster
Courtwall® is 12mm thick, two-layer, fiberglass-reinforced, cement-based, resin-modified hard plaster designed for squash court use. The non-glare, non-skid, matte playing surface produces optimal ball response. Over 3000 courts were built in Europe within the last 20 years using cement-based plaster.
While most players, including professionals, most often prefer classic white squash court walls, colour combinations for front and sidewalls of any court are available. Colors result in court corners that are better defined, as the court looks more 3-dimensional.
Faberesin playwalls
Fiberesin Hi-Density wall panels deliver fast, true rebounds and lively ball action. The consistent plane and uniform textured nonskid surface ensures consistent, predictable ball rebound.
Fiberesin panels carry a 10 year warranty when installed by an approved installer and pursuant to the manufacturer's installation parameters and specifications. The permanent surface of Fiberesin panels is unaffected by normal use. Upkeep is limited to an occasional washing to keep it looking like new.
No resurfacing is necessary. This means low maintenance cost and negligible downtime.
Prefabricated Fiberesin panels mean short construction time, early occupancy and immediate play. The framing/panel system eliminates the cost of special foundations and walls.
The World Squash Federation has accredited the Fiberesin panel system for official squash play worldwide.
Court refurbishment with McWil/Fiberesin panel system:
McWil/Fiberesin panel is the best solution to refurbish plaster hitwalls, as the panel surface will never require refinishing and can never be damaged. The panels carry a ten-year warranty, testimony to the experience of customers over the last 30 years. The panels are installed directly against the existing plaster hitwall by industrial adhesive and mechanical fixing. Minimum court down-time and zero dust are the other advantages with this renovation solution.
There are some cases where customers want to renovate the hitwall but keep the seamless surface that is characteristic of plaster. For these instances McWil offers the System 2000 seamless panel - a system that incorporates the same high-density core as the classic panel but has a special surface that allows for the seams to be filled and then the entire wall coated to result in a proper squash-playing surface. The coating used by McWil can easily be re-applied as necessary during the many years that the panels will serve as first-class hitwall surfaces.
